It was raining when I woke up this morning. I hate rainy days. They make me want to stay in the bed and sleep until the sun comes out! However, while driving to work this morning, I drove through the clouds and into the sun. There was the most glorious rainbow right in front of me...it was absolutely beautiful! Tired as I was, it revived me for the day ahead. Whenever I see a rainbow, I think of Noah and how renewed his soul must have been in the Lord when the flood subsided and God delivered him and his family from the ark. What a glorioius event and promise!
"While the earth remains,
Seedtime and harvest,
Cold and heat,
Winter and summer,
And day and night
Shall not cease."
Genesis 8:22
May we remember the promise of our Covenant God and remain faithful to Him! Praise Him for a rainbow this morning!
