March 2012

This month started off with a bang. It was such a pleasant time full of zoo trips, walks, sunshine...

And then Jackson had our first major accident.
Head vs. Glass door panel.

 It wasn't pretty.
It was terrifying.

 Oh hello pediatric ER.
At least he is one adorable tiny patient!

Every time he looked down at the IV cast thing on his arm he got so so angry.
Quite comical given the circumstances.

Sedation and 10 stitches later he was good as new. Thank goodness for those little bandages that the Dr. glued to his head... He was right back to himself as soon as we got home. Complete with running, falling and wrestling. He is one tough cookie.

I think Spring may be my favorite season. Sunshine, nice breezes... Perfect for long walks. I love that my boys don't seem to mind the jogging stroller (they don't know they can protest) so I can enjoy some exercise with them buckled in. And check out those chucks... they love their shoes!

We headed to the zoo with Matt's parents a couple of weeks after the stitches incident.
Who can resist pleasant weather and a chance to see that face?!

 They absolutely love the zoo!

Jackson doing some light afternoon reading.

Hard at work. He is just like big brother - loves him some dress up!

Graham's dreams do come true. We visited the police station with some friends and even got to talk to a police officer! She was really sweet to the kids. Their favorite part was obviously the sticker badges and getting to see the lights and sirens. Kids are so funny.

February 2012

February was fun. We definitely made the most of a cold month.

Someone fell in love with playing dress up.

Little Policeman celebrated a birthday.  Thank goodness Batman and the Mickey Mouse Club were able to attend the party.

Matt and I finally celebrated our anniversary. We celebrated 5 years in October (yay!) and spent our first night away from our boys in February. Better late than never right? It was heavenly. We will be back to the Moonrise. It was awesome!

Graham had his first trip to the dentist. I just knew he'd refuse to open his mouth immediately and the visit would last 1 minute. Guess who let them do an entire cleaning?! Yeah, he was so proud.

Look who is getting so good at building his own castles?! He loves to lead me in with my eyes closed to show me is creation.

Look at those two. We are so blessed!

We can't forget little policeman. He is well loved for sure. G has a special place in the palm of his hand for this little fella.

One of the first snow encounters. They were so funny!
(Jackson is definitely crying...)

 BOOTS!

It's time. (Don't worry - it's July and the sign is still there...)

I love this guy. So happy and blessed to be able to celebrate 3 years of Metagramme.
So proud of my Matt!

And who can forget Pirate Night? G is still talking about Pirate night at Chick-fil-A. Gosh they're awesome. We loved dressing up and heading to our favorite place for some dinner and treasure hunts!

January 2012

January is a hard month. With all the holidays over, with the cold weather, with colds and general yuckiness... We did some pretty strange things to pass the time.

This kid loves himself a pile of blankets. He seriously is so so happy with a blanket wadded up in his lap. I love him!

And this firstborn... he loves him some little guys and role playing! Such a precious little boy.

And how weird to be able to take little wagon walk in January?
We loved it.

They fell in love all over again with block towers and castles.

And we took trips to Target in our pi's that included eating cereal out of the box.

We love Target.

December 2011

Oh dear blog.  One day we'll be all caught up...

Until then, lets take a little trip down memory lane.  All the way back to last December.

We were sick.  It was super sad.

We played with the nativity. And made sure Mr. Policeman got to participate.

We read a lot of books.

We were silly with phone pictures...

 There were many sweet moments!

There were traffic jams. Darn holiday traffic.

We celebrated Christmas with my family.

 We love playing dress up!

We celebrated with Matt's family on Christmas day and were blessed with beautiful weather!
A trip to the park after breakfast was a MUST.

And thank goodness we found some new policemen... they're best buds.
(The original little policeman was lost during a trip to the mall for some Christmas shopping.
It was devastating.)
