warm fuzzies

I have not let myself browse the delicious pages of j.crew all summer because I obviously couldn't have worn any of it and would only have drooled all over the pages with envy.  So, a true act of restraint...the ban is almost lifted though.

During a break at work today I *accidently* drifted over the the j.crew sale site.....and now I'm all warm and tingly inside.

Feel free to surprise me with any of the following.

These pants (in bright lime).

These shorts (in soft aqua).

This cardigan (in fresh clover).

This coat (in bright flame).

and These shoes (in metallic amber).

So yeah...if you feel so inclined, you can contact me for size details.

Until then...I at least have the website to pacify myself.

38 weeks....t-minus DAYS people....DAYS.

Birth, it's almost time.  Here we are at 38ish weeks with only days till d-day.

Matt has been working absolutely insane hours getting his projects as settled as he can so that he can *hopefully* relax and enjoy the 2 weeks he gets off when Graham gets here.  I have been trying to keep myself distracted from becoming too impatient and getting all of our "gear" ready for the hospital.

We have been preparing, reading, practicing, and praying for the strength to have a natural birth.  This has been sort of a stressful decision because it's not just something I decide, but something Matt needs and wants to have too since he'll be such an essential part of the whole ordeal.  After much, much research and prayer, we are going for it.  I know I know...I've never done this before, what do I know right?  Well, that is the notion behind many responses/comments that we receive when people ask us questions and hear that we're doing it naturally.  We've also had several people think that by "natural" we mean "at home"...not so much.  We will be at the hospital, just not using any pain meds or any "speeding up the process" agents.  I know that birth is unpredictable and only God knows how little Graham will enter this world, but we pray that through our preparation and prayer, He will bless us all through this and that above all, He will be glorified!

Please join us in our prayers for a safe delivery and a healthy little babe!  We are so thankful for this little blessing and gift from the Father....he just needs to hurry up and get here...we're so excited to meet him!

it just needs a baby

*Some* people (you know who you are...) have been anxiously waiting on the "Nursery" post.  I do apologize for my blogging absence.  I have no good excuse, I'm still pregnant and just waiting for him to get here.  So, here are some pictures of Graham's nursery.

So yes, just waiting on the babe.....patience is hard work!

Sridana's 57

So Matt has a *thing* with his condiments.  He has basically lost his ability to taste years ago and has to set fire to his mouth at every meal as proof of consumption.  He has been putting hot sauce on EVERYTHING since we've been married and recently taken a liking to mixing the above condiments for most meals.  I know Sam Adams Light isn't a condiment, and he doesn't mix it with the others to form his special sauce, but he does drink one almost every night "because it is the best light beer ever"...haha.  Anyway, after watching the special drizzling and mixing tonight at dinner, I just had to share.

Also, he came up with the new name.  Are you surprised?

not too much longer!

Who's ready to meet Graham?

Here we are at 36 weeks.  Yikes!

(sorry it's blurry)

this is who i married...

she just wanted to be like us

I know.....Mable is all we have right now.  Soon the cat posts will totally disappear in the dust of Graham.

But for now....laugh with us.

We had to coax her down with a string because she got scared.

I mean, she's only a cat....a genius cat, but still a cat.

ah...fall......and new tv

With the beginning of September comes fall.  Well, in St. Louis it is still pretty much summer, but TV knows that fall is coming and they are rolling out the premiers.  Here is a list of all shows and their premier dates.  Maternity leave is right around the corner (yikes!), and thanks to DVR, I'll be able to watch all of the shows I am interested in on my own time!  I am nearly giddy with excitement!
