4 Months

Graham is 4 months as of Sunday.  Wow.  I won't say it, but I'm thinking it.  Time flies!  Anyway, big changes have been going on around here.  This past week Matt and I realized that Graham was back to his happy self.  So three cheers for being out of that last growth spurt, he was a new kind of cranky!  We also realized that he grew....like a lot last week.  He is just so smiley and shrieks when he sees us, it's so sweet!  Some other milestones include:

- He rolled over (front to back) TODAY.  Yay!

- He has been sleeping unswaddled for the past week and we are SOOOO EXCITED!  We have been waiting for the day when it wouldn't take an hour to get him to sleep with his hands being his main enemy.  So we're thrilled for the unswaddled sleeping!

- He is obsessed with playing with the paci.  He wants it in his mouth but then inevitably loops one of his thumbs in the little handle and pulls it out.  He's about 50% successful at getting it back in there the right way.

- He is taking a bottle wonderfully with Mimi and Nana when I have to be at work.  He *might* not be napping or acting wonderfully for them, but taking a bottle is progress right?

- He is reaching and grabbing objects hanging in front of him with more accuracy - he's not missing them as much - and everything goes straight to the mouth of course!

- He is babbling and shrieking all of the time......no one knows where he gets his loudness from since Matt and I are so quiet.  ha.

- We recently bought a jumparoo thing (like an exersaucer but with bungies) and put up our door way jumper.  Since jumping is such a major activity for him, he's loving it!  He jumps in the jumparoo during dinner and it definitely adds more *fun* to the kitchen.

We had his 4 month doctors visit today and everything looks good!  The doctor was impressed with his head and neck strength (we have known he was part lego for some time now).  He is 13 lbs 4 oz (18%) and 24 inches long (18%) with a 16.34 inch head circumference (30%).  So he is continuing to grow and we're so proud of him!
