dear fall,

Welcome! I have been waiting for you to get here. The beautiful changing colors of the leaves. The wonderful breeze. The way the sun shines in the late afternoon. The pumpkins and mums. You are my favorite season!

As I was browsing the fall decor at Target though, I noticed that not only do they have fall and halloween decor lining the shelves, but there are equally as many christmas decorations out as well. Why are they trying to rush you? Why?

I draw the line though when I turned on the radio station and heard what? CHRISTMAS CAROLS. Yes, it's true. A local radio station has been playing christmas music since Friday.

I know I've been in a *baby cocoon* for the last couple of weeks, but it's still October right? We're still two months from christmas right? That's what I thought.

I appreciate you Fall, I love all you bring to this time of year. I will not rush through you to get to christmas.
