Birth, it's almost time. Here we are at 38ish weeks with only days till d-day.

Matt has been working absolutely insane hours getting his projects as settled as he can so that he can *hopefully* relax and enjoy the 2 weeks he gets off when Graham gets here. I have been trying to keep myself distracted from becoming too impatient and getting all of our "gear" ready for the hospital.
We have been preparing, reading, practicing, and praying for the strength to have a natural birth. This has been sort of a stressful decision because it's not just something I decide, but something Matt needs and wants to have too since he'll be such an essential part of the whole ordeal. After much, much research and prayer, we are going for it. I know I know...I've never done this before, what do I know right? Well, that is the notion behind many responses/comments that we receive when people ask us questions and hear that we're doing it naturally. We've also had several people think that by "natural" we mean "at home"...not so much. We will be at the hospital, just not using any pain meds or any "speeding up the process" agents. I know that birth is unpredictable and only God knows how little Graham will enter this world, but we pray that through our preparation and prayer, He will bless us all through this and that above all, He will be glorified!
Please join us in our prayers for a safe delivery and a healthy little babe! We are so thankful for this little blessing and gift from the Father....he just needs to hurry up and get here...we're so excited to meet him!

You look so cute!!! Look at that belly, how fun. :-) I'll be praying for a safe delivery of a healthy little Graham!
Your baby looks so much smaller than mine!
We are hoping to go natural, too, even though I'm so ready to have this baby that I don't feel bad at all about having a date to be induced. But hopefully she'll come sooner.
I'm kinda excited about the thought of labor...I have to say, when someone says, "Oh, that'll be hard, you don't want to do that." ...then I automatically do. But in this case, I would probably do it anyway. If my mom can do it seven times, surely I can do it at least once, right?
Good luck with the continued waiting!
Hey Leslie! I am so excited to see pictures of Graham when he comes. Way to go with the goal to go natural. I'm definitely hoping to do that someday too. My mom inspired me with going natural on all five. We'll be praying for you!
thanks!!! we'll definitely need it :)
just remember- one contraction/ breath/ prayer at a time! i'm praying for strength and wisdom! .... and patience ;-)
