Before Jackson was born, we taught G to say "I love you" by rubbing our cheek. It was because he couldn't say the words yet and also to give him a gentle way to show affection to little J.
Incidentally, rubbing the cheek is how one of G's friends says "sorry", so G uses the gesture for both.
Anyway, a couple of nights ago when Matt's parents were leaving we asked him to tell them "I love you" and while rubbing their cheeks he also said "wuh you" in the sweetest little voice.
Matt and I instantly melted into puddles.
He also knows how cute he is saying it.
