Matt and I ran our first half marathon together. Fun? Yes. Early? For sure.
So yes, you do in fact see our sleepy eyes.
But it's ok, our reward for finishing was flying to Florida for vacation that afternoon.
So we ran for the beach!

Congratulations on the big run! That's an awesome accomplishment. I wish I saw y'all there! I walked it. Maybe running it is in my future... we'll see.
Awesome!! Completely forgot to ask you about this because I thought it was in Oct! M and I are doing one in Nov, I'm glad our's starts at 8. ;)

Lindsay, how fun that you and M are doing one! I knew you'd like it. You'll do great with how much you run. Will M run with you or leave you to get a good time? And hey, our race didn't start until 7:15, but they wanted us all lined up by like 6:30. So it'll be an early morning for you too. Wait, y'all get up while it's still dark anyway. Weirdos :)
