Generations

See little Jackson? Under the bamboo table? He's a cutie.

We've had this table since we were married. We got it from my parents. They had it since they got married.

I can't tell you how many babies have climbed under this table.

Dozens. Lots and lots of babies.

they were watching TV...

Confession, we watch TV. We love TV.

I caught the boys mesmerized one day. Must have been something good.

J only sits this still for TV.

Then I must have caught G in a special mood. He actually let me document his little cuteness.

See the gun in the "pymo" (the belt)?

He's quite proud.

I even got him to make me some silly faces!

Mother's Day

We celebrated Mother's day all day. It's nice. Moms do tons for their families. Can I get an Amen?

We had lunch after church with Matt's family. We were so busy relaxing I forgot to take a picture. I did snap this one of J and Jon. We're glad he was able to join us!

After naps we loaded up the boys and went to the park. My family met us there to play on the playground and throw the football and such. It was a perfect day!

Isn't Jackson just an angel baby face?

I've said it before, but Graham's imagination is astounding. Matt introduced "park hunting" not too long ago and it's all G wants to do when we go to the park.

Here the boys are looking out for some bears.

Graham venturing into the "snakey woods."

The rest of us were over on the playground. J loves the swings.

And so does Thomson.

And Caleb.

Once the twins discovered the tunnel slide, they were on repeat.

We were all talking and looked over to witness them fighting for the straw. They do everything together. Literally.

I love all the moms in my life! Every day should be mother's day!

Parks with Friends

We went to a little friend's birthday party. Not only did it have cake, it was at a park. That was one awesome party.

G just kept on running.

You think he liked it?

These two were pondering the meaning of life.

We left one park and went to another. We had a pizza picnic at this one.

Big hit.

They were being so cute running and chasing after each other!

"Let's hold hands this time."

Sweet momma and baby.

Oh Jackson. It's just not possible for him to get any cuter.

I could eat him up.

She's adorable too.

"Let's ride the dragon Kate, want to?"

"Come on momma, you ride, I drive a car."

unstructured snack

I was over at my mom's recently when Laura told me to watch a trick.

She asked the boys if they wanted a snack. She handed them the trays to their high chairs and they sat down all on their own and put the trays on their laps to eat their crackers.

I laughed so hard.

No, they didn't sit there for very long. They'd eat a cracker then get up and run around. When they wanted another cracker they'd come back and put the tray back on their lap to eat more.

They're the best.

Learning and Playing

So, I got a new camera recently. It's been really fun learning how to use all the settings!

Plus, I have two adorable little subjects to practice with. And with all that they're learning to do, the opportunities to document are endless.

J looks a little skeptical.

Turns out, he loves the camera.

G on the other hand is a little shy. He is so stinking cute with all his role playing and exploding imagination - but if anyone draws attention to him he freezes up. It's so hard to get pictures of that little booger!
J's downward dog.
J loves exploring his and G's room. He'll play back there forever (or until he bumps his head...) rolling around playing with all the toys that G usually hides from him.
Sometimes they play back there together. This was cute until J wouldn't leave G's rows of animals alone.

Our little cowboy. Or army man. Depends on the day who he wants to be. These little water guns (which he has no idea that they could shoot water, don't tell him) are the best.
G makes up words. Sometimes it's just his inability to pronounce the actual word, sometimes it's a real made up one. So, he consistently uses the word "pymo" in place of holster. Talks about his guns in their pymos. Matt loves this budding talent of wordsmithery.

He also loves to tie and twist things up. I can't explain it... it's like he's tying, buckling, and twisting all at the same time. The more accessories the better.
