orange and blue

My brother graduated from high school and is heading to Auburn.

So we celebrated with an orange and blue graduation party.

My little orange and blue boys.

Full of attitude.

We can't wait to go down and visit him so we can show our school spirit!

Happy graduation Adam, we're so proud of you!

toys in the pool

We have a tiny baby pool.

G insists on every outside toy we own joining him in said baby pool.

J just loves exploring...

He loves being outside.

I love this face...
Whatever you do Graham, don't look at me and smile...

He's fallen prey to the whole reverse psychology trick. Works every time.

J's face.

Look at this face.

We love this guy.
I'm going to need to learn how to resist those eyes...

Help yourself.

Graham is in a new phase of independence. He's been doing everything himself for a while... but it's just gotten funny.
I find him searching the fridge and pantry by himself looking for snacks. He wants to hold the whole box, not just a bowl. Silly boy.

And this little guy. My little explorer.

He can sense it from the other room if the pantry or fridge is open. He loves the pantry.

Red, White and Blue

We celebrated the 4th of July just like you probably did.

Throw on some red, white and blue, get with friends, eat some food, and cap off the night with a big fire works show.

It was a GREAT day.

Gosh my boys are come kind of cute.

I absolutely love this one. Look at J's face!

Why am I the only one looking in every picture I'm in.....

Now I know why my mom always joked that there was no record of her existence in our childhood picture albums.

We had a delicious dinner of pulled pork, salad, potato salad. We had lots of friends over.

And somehow I only managed to document the desserts. How typical.

Oh man, I can't explain how awesome these are.

It's an oreo ball. Only the most delicious thing I've ever put in my mouth.

I could have eaten like a dozen of these. But that would've been a little overboard, right?

After dinner we took all the kids out to play with bubble wands.

And make silly faces.

After all the silliness and bubbles, we enjoyed an awesome display of fireworks.

It was such a beautiful day to celebrate our freedom. And we were glad to celebrate with friends and family!

Obession.

Graham loves him some rows of anything.

If there are more than one, then they can be in a line.

He also loves the army. He's saluting the army guys here.

He asked me to take this picture of him marching with them.

Just one of Graham's masterpieces.

Army at the Arch

At the end of June, Marine week came to St. Louis.

Now, Graham doesn't know about the different branches of the military. He just sees camo trucks, uniforms, soldiers, and the Army.

And we know how he feels about the Army.

So we had to go see how all the soldiers were doing.

And verify that B wasn't down there.

Look at that stud. I love him.

And this one. I love this sweet little face.

After walking around looking at trucks, we noticed that people were all congregating around this one big area. And hearing that the marching band was planning on playing and doing formations and such, we decided to hang around and wait to see the show.

That's when G decided to dig out his snack.

And when we let J out to explore. He's so incredibly busy and curious. I love it.

Once the band started, G was transfixed. They were really talented!

Please notice the little police man on top of Matt's head. I looked over to see G holding him there. He said the police man wanted to watch too.

G is still talking about the Army at the Arch.
